Finally, an advertising platform (print and web), Kouga Visitor magazine, the latest tourism and business marketing tool/product that speaks directly to Kouga and Tsitsikamma businesses target market! The publisher of Kouga Visitor magazine, which is a new niche publication, envisage publishing the first edition and distributing it for the upcoming summer 2018 (Christmas) school holidays within the Kouga and Tsitsikamma tourism routes. Designed as an A4 glossy magazine, Kouga Visitor will highlight and narrate the second-to-none bespoke experiences available to visiting domestic and international tourists (holidaymakers) to both the Kouga and Tsitsikamma tourism routes. Printed on 100gsm glossy paper, the Kouga Visitor, a biannual (a winter and summer edition) magazine, will be distributed to tourism offices, caravan parks, accommodation establishments, retail outlets and restaurants within the borders of the Kouga and Tsitsikamma tourism routes. Copies of the magazine will also be distributed regionally (Eastern Cape).
The magazine aims to highlight and feature the best of tourism experiences and attractions within the Kouga and Tsitsikamma tourism routes; with sections dedicated to lifestyle features, tourism activities, local cuisine, accommodation/lodging, and local culture, etc. Thus, the publisher’s vision for Kouga Visitor is that the publication becomes the Kouga and Tsitsikamma tourism routes only essential home-grown glossy informative guide targeted at visiting domestic and international tourists. “Since the inception of the idea to publish Kouga Visitor magazine, our aim is to initiate a new platform of connecting like minded Kouga and Tsitsikamma businesses (owners) – accommodation (hotels, B & B, backpackers, etc.), tourism services and adventure companies, restaurants, etc. – to endlessly enhance the quality of their services that they offer commonly expected by visiting domestic and international tourists via the pages of Kouga Visitor magazine”, says Steven Jeggels.
The publisher, Jeggels Media Pty Ltd will publish the print version (Issue #1) of the magazine by 30 November for the upcoming summer 2018/19 (Christmas) season. The website for the magazine will go live by January 2019.
